Outlook 97/98 Setup

• To setup your E-mail with Microsoft Outlook 98 follow these steps.
  • Start Outlook
  • Click on TOOLS on the menu bar.
  • Select Services
    • Click on the Add button in the Services window.
    • Highlight the "Internet Mail" service option in the ADD window.
    • Click OK
    • Once "Internet Mail" has been installed highlight it and select PROPERTIES.
    • Fill out the following information pertaining to your account:
      • Select the General Tab, enter the following information:
        • Mail Account: Colosseum Mail
        • Name: Enter your name
        • Organization: Optional
        • E-mail address: username@colosseum.com
        • Reply Address: username@colosseum.com
      • Select the Servers Tab, enter the following information:
        • Outgoing Mail (SMTP):
          • for dialup: mail.colosseum.com
          • for DSL: cmail.colosseum.com
        • Incoming Mail (POP3): mail.colosseum.com
        • Choose Log on Using
        • Account Name: username
        • Password: The password you supplied to us
      • Select the Connection Tab, enter the following information:
        • Select: Connect using my phone line
        • Under Modem choose your Colosseum Dial-Up networking connection
    • Click OK
    • Now your mail is setup.
  • We recommend restarting your system so all chages take affect.
